Kualifikasi :

Report To: Regional Sales Manager of DESMI Singapore

 

General requirements:

Engineering graduate from Marine and Offshore, Navy academic, shipbuilding or industry mechanical and electrical engineering course.
Preference for those with 5 to 10 years’ experience in similar roles within the marine and offshore environment.
Good working attitude, able to work independently with minimum supervision to achieve assigned tasks and set goals.
Good communication skills willing to interact with different level of peoples.
Willing to travel with short notice to visit and support customers and business partners within the assigned business area.

 

Job scope: Main Duties & Tasks 

(Working hour is expected to split ~30%/60%/10% between office works, external sales activity/on-site service support) 

 

To lead and establish the business plan and marketing strategy for achieving the assigned annual sales budget for the assigned business area – Indonesia.   
Lead and drive the local business partners with set goals and strategies for achieving sustainable growth for the served markets.
To evaluate the market potential and lookout for suitable/capable local business partners, providing them with the necessary training and assigning them with set goals and targets and timeframe for the specific market/applications etc.   
To evaluate, review and qualify RFQs and communicate with the sales support team to prepare and submit suitable proposal.
Overview of competitor landscape and proactive approach for own product development.
To engage in direct sales activities with shipyards, shipowners, ship managers and ship designers within Taiwan market to promote the complete DESMI range of products and systems – Marine Pumps, Ballast Water Management System, Opti-Save Energy Optimization system, Fire Fighting system and automation solutions.
To work closely with Regional Sales Manager, factory and business partners to achieve sustainable growth and set goals and increase our sales and market share for the marine and offshore market of Indonesia. 
Follow-up visit with the proposal to the potential customer for any technical and commercial clarifications and negotiation, contract review and smooth order processing support etc.
To attend any urgent service calls or customer complaints and liaison with the service support team and factory and customer arranging for service support for rectification works if required.
Participate in solving Ad Hoc tasks which Management determine to have high priority.
