COMPANY OVERVIEW

Sarulla Operations Ltd (“SOL”) is a geothermal producer Company who operates Geothermal Power Plant with 330 MW installed capacity in North Sumatra (“Sarulla GPP”), Indonesia. SOL sponsored by multinational corporations, they are MEDCO, ORMAT, ITOCHU, KYUSHU and INPEX. SOL has built the world’s largest Geothermal Power Plant in one contract. Sarulla GPP has fully operated since 2018. SOL project location is located in Pahae Julu and Pahae Jae Districts, North Tapanuli Regency. North Sumatra Province; and keep exploring further development in the surrounding area.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensure all goods and/or services are sourced and procured in a timely manner, safe and cost effective manner in accordance with Company’s policy and procedures, and applicable statutory regulations. 
Review and validate all Purchase Requisitions.
Prepare and issue solicitation documents (RFQ/RFP/ITB) and obtain multiple quotations or proposals as per Company’s process.
Prepare and issue Purchase Order, Service Order or Contract on timely manner. 
Track and expedite deliveries.
Responsible for maintaining audit trail for all procurement transactions.
Prepare various reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually) as required either internally or externally to ensure compliance with Company’s policy and procedure, and applicable statutory regulations.
Ensure appropriate financial authority (AFE/Budget Approval) is strictly adhered to at all times.
Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
Participate in supplier meetings to ensure expected standards are being adhered to with respect to cost and performance.
Active participation, promotion and development of Company’s Health, Safety and Environment policies.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Graduate of engineering or business- economic school, with formal academic degree. 
Good computer skills.
Experience in working with government and public entities
Knowledge and experience in financing and accounting activities 
Good communication and reporting skills both verbal and in writing, specifically the English language
Adequate years of experience in managerial positions with experiences in multi-national 
Ability and willingness to travel as required
Multi-culture knowledge and working experience
Familiar with procurement of goods and/or services in oil and gas, geothermal or power industry is an advantage
Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary
minimum 7 years of work experience in procurement
