• Finance Manager / Controller

Kualifikasi :

Secluded Bali Villas is a fast growing Villa Management Company based in Kerobokan/Batu Belig in Bali.  We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, manager to lead our Finance and Accounting Team.

The Finance Manager / Controller will oversee all financial activities for the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, payroll and financial reporting, as well as carrying out financial analysis and providing recommendations to improve the company’s financial performance.

You should have a strong accounting background, multidisciplinary problem-solving skills, attention to detail and willingness to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting: Oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, including monthly company and individual villa accounts, payroll, petty cash reconciliation, expense claim system etc.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain the company’s annual budget and monthly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management and villa owners, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to improve financial performance. Provide recommendations to senior management on financial strategy, corporate structure, and tax efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including payroll, sales, and income tax. Also ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Team Management: Manage and expand the existing accounts team, while providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

 

REPORTING

Position will report to the Managing Director
Position is part of the Senior Management Team for the company
Existing accounts staff will report to this position, but we are also looking to recruit a new Accountant, and a new HR/Payroll Administrator, so opportunity for the candidate to build their own team.
Experienced Tax advisor and Finance Advisor (Temporary) on monthly retainer to provide tax and finance advice.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent English and Fluent Indonesian (written and spoken)
Minimum of 5 years experience in finance or accounting, with several years in a management role.
Indonesian Citizen
Accounting Qualification to University Degree Level

 

BEHAVIOURS AND EXPERIENCE

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Experience with accounting software (Jurnal) and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to villa owners and non-financial management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
