Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software (PMS)
Bachelor’s degree in Rooms Division, Hotel Management, or other relevant fields. Bachelor’s degree is desirable
1 or 2 years experience in similar position
Strong affinity for and commitment to the hotel industry
Strong market sense and results orientation
Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon their arrival.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, tours and local sites.
Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers.
Check guest rooms to ensure quality standards.
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues effectively, escalating to the appropriate department if necessary.
Offer assistance with certain tasks (e.g. confirming travel arrangements, restaurant reservations, e.g.)
Handle guest accounts, including charges and credits.
Balance and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Process guest payments, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
